Rebecca Conrad- Hairstylist
If you want to feel relaxed, heard, and excited about your hair, you’ll feel right at home in Becca’s chair. A North Carolina native, Rebecca (“Becca”) began her career at Meraki after her love of dance hair and makeup inspired her to attend cosmetology school. Her warm demeanor and gentle touch help guests feel comfortable, while her thoughtful consultations make sure they feel heard.
Becca is a certified Kevin Murphy Session Stylist with a passion for hair color. She especially loves creating blended brunettes, dimensional blondes, and natural-looking, rich reds. Outside the salon, she’s building a life with her soon-to-be husband and enjoys lounging by the pool or shopping.
Emma Alderman- Hairstylist
If you’re looking for beautiful hair and an appointment that feels like catching up with a friend, Emma’s chair is the place to be. A Carolina girl by way of Ohio, she brings lively energy, a love of life, and plenty of fun to the salon.
Blondes and lived-in color are Emma’s specialties. She’s also one of our extension artists, offering both keratin bonds and sew-in methods. As a Kevin Murphy Session Stylist, she’s excited to keep growing her skills with the brand.
Outside the salon, Emma loves spending time with friends and family and discovering new places through travel.
Avery Smith- Hairstylist
Avery’s story with Meraki began long before she joined our team. A High Point native, she first came to the salon as a client and has known Jenn for nearly 20 years. After completing beauty school in Wilmington, she returned home, and we were thrilled she chose Meraki.
Kind and energetic, Avery brings a natural gift for color and a love of beautiful blowouts and styling to every appointment. She’s eager to keep learning and growing, and we can’t wait for you to get to know her. We’re grateful to have her here and can’t wait to see all she’ll do.
Kelly Ferguson- Hairstylist
Anyone who has sat in her chair knows how truly amazing she is! Not only can she do beautiful hair but her spirit is perfection! She has worked along side of Jenn in several salons over a 20 year span (yes, they started doing hair at 10, lol). They attended and taught many educational events and truly love working together. Kelly has two precious daughters with whom she is devoted to. When not at the salon or being a mom, Kelly is very involved with her church. She pours her heart into people and reminds us all what being a good human is all about!

Candy has been in the industry for over ten years, and joined our team a few years ago. Candy loves COLOR! When you are in Candy's chair she listens to your challenges and desires with your hair & works hard to achieve your desired look. She enjoys educating her guests on styling & maintaining their unique look. When Candy is not at the salon you can find her with her Grand-babies, who she has the pleasure to keep while mom & dad work. She has been married for over twenty years and has two Labrador retrievers at home to keep her busy. Candy loves her growing family and we love that she joined the Meraki team after years of knowing her!
Charisse Koba-Esthetician

I’ve been loving this industry for 24 years. I love the fact that I get to be creative and make people feel good about themselves all in a days work. Being a salon owner was never my dream but after years of working for others I wanted to create a work environment that supported creativity, had a true team environment, and ultimately had a relaxed sophistication about it. While I still enjoy seeing guests I have found a new love for guiding and mentoring my salon family. Through this experience I have grown exponentially and look forward to the future for our salon.
My life does not stop after I leave the salon for the day. I was fortunate enough to marry the love of my life and we have three boys, and two dogs, to keep life interesting! We don’t get much spare time, however we love to laugh and are all happiest on the beach or watching a movie!
I feel so blessed to have such amazing women to share my workday with and precious boys to go home to. My heart is truly full!
Karen McMicheal- Salon Coordinator
We found a true gem when Karen joined the team! She is the most friendly and kind person that you will meet! She does a fantastic keeping our day moving and making everyone feel right at home! When she is outside of the salon you will probably find her shopping, most likely at TJMaxx, or on Smith Mountain Lake with a hat and diet coke. Her awesome personal style is a constant topic of the salon and we all want her to be our personal shopper. Karen is a wife of forever and mother to two daughters, who we have watched grow up into lovely young ladies. She is the center of the salon and we all adore her so much!
